Oklahoma Heroes: Horace “Will” Williams

Horace “Will” Williams served 20 years in the United States Army. He served in Vietnam and went on to supervise 200 recruiters in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command.  Upon retiring from the Army, Will continued to serve by being active in his community. He was elected to the Owasso city council and served as mayor of Owasso from 2000-20003. He also served on the committee that helped bring the Vietnam Wall to Owasso.  Will and his wife, Rutha have been married for 52 years, have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
