Season two returns with more rich discussions that offer viewers new perspectives and angles on some of the most engaging issues of our time. The series is hosted by author, historian, and journalist Mark Updegrove, who interviews preeminent thought leaders – historians, authors, journalists, filmmakers, and others – with a focus on issues that are vital to America’s future, including the state of our democracy and the importance of strong leadership. In People of the North Season 2, intrepid hosts venture through Norway and beyond, discovering the untamed beauty of Northern Europe, a land filled with rugged fishing hamlets and breathtaking vistas. Guided by seasoned Norwegian presenter Arne Hjeltnes and acclaimed distiller Stig Bareksten, alongside Swedish chef Frida Ronge and Norwegian chef Sigrid Henjum, season two begins in Hardanger, the land of apples and cider. The team hikes to one of Norway’s most breathtaking rock formations and then continues through western Norway, exploring the fjord valleys of Vindafjord, Rosendal, and Balestrand – each offering stunning landscapes, local delicacies, and a sense of history.

Table for All with Buki Elegbede
New Series Premieres on July 11th at 9:30am
Table for All with Buki Elegbede is a docuseries focusing on diverse cultures through the lens of food. Host and New Jersey native Buki Elegbede takes viewers on the ultimate food tour around his home state, visiting local restaurants and home kitchens to try new cuisines. Along the way, he meets the diverse people who are preparing these dishes and hears the fascinating stories behind some of the region’s favorite foods, recipes, and traditions. In season two, Buki learns about what it means to be Palestinian in America by visiting the businesses along “Palestine Way” in Paterson, New Jersey, and exploring the first Palestinian restaurant in Manhattan. He also meets an Ethiopian and Eritrean chef who is changing her community one dish at a time, and visits with resilient women helping their communities deal with devastating conflicts in their home countries while preserving their foods and culture in the U.S.
My Life is Murder
Premieres on July 23rd at 9:00pm
In the second season of My Life is Murder, ex-cop Alexa Crowe (Lucy Lawless) returns to her New Zealand hometown from Australia and finds herself continuing to investigate puzzling murders alongside charismatic DI Harry (Rawiri Jobe) and her protégé Madison (Ebony Vagulans), who has moved into Alexa’s home. But to truly make a fresh start, Alexa must deal with the family troubles she’s avoided for years. William Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal) and Renee O’Connor (Xena: Warrior Princess) are among the guest stars this season.

Rush: Time Machine- Live in Cleveland
Premieres on July 11th
Rush’s The Time Machine Tour was a favorite among fans, thanks in part to the tour’s incredible set list, which encompassed songs from the Canadian progressive rock trio’s entire career. Rush: Time Machine- Live in Cleveland captures their April 2011 performance at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena, a tribute to the city that first played their music on the radio. The concert features “Tom Sawyer,” “Limelight,” and “Closer to the Heart,” among many others.
Exile: Live in Concert
Premieres on July 18th
This live concert film, recorded at the historic Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, celebrates the 60th anniversary of one of the longest-running American bands, Exile. It features many of the band’s biggest hits, including “Kiss You All Over” and more.
Lang Lang – Favourite Melodies
Premieres on July 25th
Lang Lang – Favourite Melodies features world-famous pianist Lang Lang as he takes us on a personal journey through his favorite melodies, including Beethoven’s “Für Elise,” Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” and other works from J.S. Bach and Johannes Brahms. Filmed in unique locations in Paris, the Chinese pianist also incorporates beautiful movie soundtracks, including the Beauty and the Beast theme song, Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and The Muppet Movie’s “The Rainbow Connection.” Through each song, Lang Lang is able to captivate the listener’s fantasy and awaken memories.
